While some say distance causes a heart to grow fonder, actor and filmmaker Justin Theroux does not like being away with his wife Jennifer Aniston. The two was noted to have only made their red carpet debut as a married couple recently, during HBO's "The Leftovers" premiere.

The 44-year-old actor told Extra during the HBO drama's Austin premiere how hard it is for him to spend time far from her wife. "It's horrible being apart from your spouse," he said. "She's been here a bunch of times and visited, I sneak back when I can go see her - we make it work."

Despite having busy schedules that take almost all of their time together, the couple makes an effort to stay close with the help of modern technology. With a little help from the latest gadgets for communication, the couple know they can make it through.

"We FaceTime, we call and text but when you're on set, the hours are so long, so you're really waiting for the weekend where you can depressurize and have longer conversations," Justin shared.

Talking about the second season of "The Leftovers", Theroux teased about it saying "It's unique and it explores different themes. This season in particular, it explores these very interesting religious themes. There's a lighter side to a lot of things that are happening, too."

US Magazine have noted that the Austin premiere of "The Leftovers" last Saturday, Oct. 3 was also the first appearance made by Aniston, 46 and Theroux, 44 as a married duo.

Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston's wedding ceremony took place on Aug. 5 at their home in Bel Air, California according to People. The said wedding was attended by some of their famous friends like Emily Blunt, Courteney Coxand, Lisa Kudrow, Sandra Bullock, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, and and John Krasinski. Jimmy Kimmel was said to officiate the ceremony.
