Travel search engine raises $17 million

Travel serch engine ha raised a total of $17 million in Series C funding. is a popular search website in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region. The lead investors in the round were Crescent Point, Victoria Capital and previous shareholder Tiger Global. Paul Bassat from Victoria Capital has joined the board of directors of as part of the investment. pioneered the metasearch for travel in the regions of Asia and the Pacific. The company, headquartered in Singapore, is doing business in over 52 countries in 30 languages. A large portion of its user base in in Indonesia, India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, which have markets that are considered to be fast developing.

The search engine posts a total of $10 million worth of potential bookings daily for their travel partners.
