STAT-Diagnostica, a medical diagnostics company, has announced Gerard Vaillant as its new chariman of the board of directors. The medical firm also recently closed its Series B fundraiser which collected a total of $22.1 million worth of investments, leb by Kurma Life Science Partners.

Valliant has served in the industry for almost thirty years, including positions such as Managing Director for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics France, vice-president for Johnson & Johnson International, global president for LifeScan, and company group chairman for Diagnostics Worldwide.

He also currently acts as chairman of the board of directors of SageOrthopaedics and member of the board of Tecan CH.
