"Downton Abbey" Season 6 Spoilers: Daisy's dark personality revealed

The final season of the popular period drama 'Downton Abbey' finally reveals the darker personality of Daisy Mason in Season 6. Sophie McShera shares how her character will have a rebellious change in the upcoming season. Moreover, she teases some of the shocking moves of the timid servant that fans should'nt definitely miss.

Daisy's new perspective has even changed her timid personality. She finally finds her strength to "speak up" especially on Mr. Mason's defense, which will lead to an outburst. The usually timid cook will be highlighted in one of the scenes of season 6. In that particular scene, Daisy may walk away with conviction after she's done "it" and everyone looks at her, Sophie McShera teases the Telegraph UK.

During a recent interview with Express, McShera reveals that Daisy Mason will "revolt". This upcoming season, Daisy will be wanting more out of life. The actress further explains that her character is starting to become aware and dissatisfied with the outcomes she's expecting to be. Daisy will suddenly open her eyes that she should have more opportunities.

In addition to that, McShera told Unreality TV that her mild-mannered character starts to explore the modern times in the 6th season of 'Downton Abbey'. Daisy will be one of the characters to have some sort of awakening and a realization. She then starts to discover that there is a whole new world out there and not just inside the house.

After a year of waiting, 'Downton Abbey' finally resumes with a fiercer Daisy at tow. The British period drama TV series returns with season 6, the final installment of the show in the UK. The show's upcoming season is set to premiere next year January 3, 2016 exclusively on PBS.'Downton Abbey' is a story which follows the lives of the Crawley family and its servants inside their classic Georgian country residence.The show is written by Julian Fellowes.
