Following the complete rollout of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 units on Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon, owners under AT&T are now eagerly waiting for AT&T to push the software update to its units.
While AT&T's Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 are still stuck with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, owners are pushing the burden to the carrier as other mobile networks in the US are now heading to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update later this month.
According to reports though, AT&T is now on the verge of preparing the latest and final Android Lollipop software version for Galaxy S6 Edge with model number G925A and Galaxy S6 with model number G920A. AT&T just updated their units last August 10 with 5.0.2 Lollipop that brought device security improvements.
When Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is ready, AT&T will send in update notification. Before proceeding to the download proper, make sure battery is charged up while its memory storage has enough space to accommodate the update. The update shall come in stages, which means it might hit other units on a later time.
