Make way for the arrival of Huawei Watch on September 17 at Best Buy, GetHuawei.com, Amazon and Google Store in the U.S.  The price starts at $349, and pre-orders begin September 2.

The Huawei smartwatch looks expensive and is like something that you'd find under a glass display case in a high-end shop on Fifth Avenue.

It has a diameter of 42mm with stainless steel case that is not bulky on the wrist unlike the 46mm Moto 360 and LG Watch Urbane.  It's still a little thicker at 0.44 inches compared to the thinner 0.41-inch Apple watch.

Huawei watch comes in silver, black and rose gold-plated metal case finishes with four different kinds of bands.  A silver stainless steel case with a black leather band costs $349.

A silver stainless steel case with matching silver metal link band will cost $399 likewise with the stainless steel case with metal mesh band.  A black stainless steel case with black metal band costs $449 and the two high-end models come with a rose gold-plated case with a brown leather strap that resemble an alligator but it's not, and a rose gold-plated link band sell for $699 and $799, respectively.

The watch looks perfect because of the sapphire screen, "cold-forged" scratch resistant stainless steel with a number of luxury straps.  Huawei is a small smartwatch at 42mm but comes with the now familiar set of Android Wear specs.  The gorgeous watch will be launched in 20 countries during the middle of the year however, the price is not yet known.

The Huawei watch has 1.4-inch AMOLED 400 x 400 screen with a 9-axis motion sensor and a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 4GB internal storage and 512MB of RAM.  It also has a 300 milliamp-hour (mAh) battery that could last up to two days which is a whole day more that most smartwatches according to Huawei.

Charging this luxurious and innovative Huawei smartwatch is the same thing done when charging an Apple Watch: Just plop it on the included magnetic charging cradle.

Huawei maybe an iPhone copycat when it comes to smartphones, but will stand a good chance for being the cover model for Android Wear.
