The Coalition confirmed that Gears of War 4 will have split-screen features, just like its former titles.  Fans are still hyped about the game returning to its roots - dark and mysterious, and yet another announcement such as this, proves that the glorious days for Gears of War still continues.

According to the International Business Times, this news may be trivial to those who have never tried playing any of the Gears of War games.  "But, those who have, will find this to be a perfect addition to bring back the glorious days of the series. In fact, the detail matters even more now, after it was revealed that the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians won't support the feature."

Yes, with Halo 5 being disabled of this feature, The Coalition, on the other hand, might have a field day come its launch in December 2016.  Although 343 Industries had repeatedly explained why it had to remove this feature - in order to make room for other things; this pronouncement seemed unconvincing for the fans of the series.

With this addition, this Gears of War installment will definitely be another couch co-op game in the offing.  Attack of the Fan Boy reported, "Thankfully, The Coalition is still thinking about gamers that love to experience games with their family/friends on the couch. Sometimes online multiplayer isn't as fun. Not to mention if you have a sibling living at the same house, online multiplayer gaming is not possible. Unless your sibling moves house and has to buy another console and game."

With this in place, players might want to peek in on some facts about Gears of War, as stated by Cliff Bleszinski, Lead Designer of the said franchise.  Fans could use these stuff as they are whiling away waiting for the game's release; or, something to brag about with friends, who are Gears of War fans themselves.  We have picked the first 10 lines, but the whole list can be found here.

1. Marcus had bright blue eyes because my father did, so I pushed for that.
2. I never asked for buff characters. Kevin Lanning just made it that way with the AD Jerry.
3. Anya originally had huge boobs but I pushed back on Pete to make her less cartoony. Ironic, considering the guys.
4. I wanted a chainsaw gun in a game I pitched in 97, called "OverFiend."
5. We had a laser gun planned but we decided for Vietnam like tech so it was cut you can see it in an early image of Marcus.
6. Rod snuck in the SP fatigue meter when I was on a biz trip to fix streaming issues. I was furious.
7. Rod was assigned to us at MS at E3 years ago and wore the Marcus dorag and at that point I could tell he adored the franchise.
8. The style of Gears' architecture came from my exhaustion of concrete bunkers and Jerry's hatred of hazard striping.
9. A lot of Gears 1's inspiration game out of my sadness from the failure of my first marriage and a visit to London.
10. The idea to do cover came from @MrLeePerry showing me Killswitch one day I was like WANT.

Gears of War 4 is scheduled to be released on the Holiday of 2016.  Players who preorder the upcoming Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will get access to a Gears 4 beta, which is set to go live next spring.
