The Emmy nominated Editor Brian Merken for his good work in the past season finale will be editing 'Silicon Valley' season 3. Merken has been very thankful for the almost-missed opportunity. He has also talked about the art of cutting scenes and how he loved working with the team.

'Silicon Valley' season 2 finale, "Two Days of the Condor," has offered something extraordinary to viewers, thanks to the kickass storyline and the great editing. The man behind the cutting of scenes, Brian Merken, is grateful to work with the crew of Mike Judge.

In an interview with the Deadline, Merken revealed that he almost-missed the opportunity to be working with HBO TV series 'Silicon Valley', as "it was the last possible hour that they would consider bringing me on that I became available. It almost didn't happen."

Merken went on to say that "There is an art to it. Most people would say there's a lot of pressure to create this amazing thing at the end of a season. I don't necessarily feel that pressure, and that again goes back to having a strong script."

According to Merken, one of the biggest challenges in editing the 'Silicon Valley' season 2 finale is the intercutting the court's unexpected ruling in favor of Pied Piper with the rest of the team in the "hacker hostel," who are preparing to delete the entire platform.

Merken is currently editing Judd Apatow's more improv-driven Netflix series, 'Love', and will return to edit Season 3 of 'Silicon Valley'.

Meanwhile, 'Silicon Valley' season 3 is said to draw inspirations from real life events. Reportedly, show creator Mike Judge said that he wants to get Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to do a cameo on the show.

It was reported by MNR Daily that 'Silicon Valley' season 3 will address the cliffhangers left from the previous season. This means that there will be an ugly battle between Richard and Raviga who now owns the major startup company.
