The move comes as Samsung struggles to compete with Apple's iPhone.  Samsung was the no. 1 smartphone seller during Q2 with a 21.9% of the market share, according to Gartner.

However, it is a drop from 26.2% during the same time last year.  The company sold almost 72 million smartphones in the second quarter compared to 76 million units of last year.

Samsung sales dropped sharply by 49% in the country, while Apple's have dramatically increased to 68%.  Samsung and Apple have long been bitter rivals and had recently argued about a patent dispute over certain phone and tablet models.

So, if you are an iPhone user who is curious as a cat about the competition between these two giant gadgets companies, your loyalty will be tested in a month.  What you will get is a month's worth of data without handing over your iPhone and that made you having two different phones to use which is a great deal.
