Apple's next  generation of MacBook Air is reported to be released in November 2015 taking with the unexpected early release is the much-anticipated Skylake processor to power up what is already a powerful device.

Apple is blazing a new path by releasing the new MacBook Air powered by Intel's upcoming processor Skylake on the same year another MacBook device came out, the MacBook Pro 2015.  With the latter's so-so review and consumer feedback, Apple is reported to take the tech department by storm this time by producing the mighty laptop.

Skylake Processor

Big thanks to Intel's core-M-based Skylake processor which will use both Core i5-6200U and Core i7-6500. It will boast an integrated HD 520 graphics and is built by the processor's manufacturer's 14-nm chip equipment.

Expected to boost the overall system performance, Skylake primarily speed up process while reducing battery usage. Skylake is considered the biggest jump for Intel for a decade now as it is far better than Broadwell. Intel is the second tech firm to manufacture a 14nm chip, which was first debuted by Samsung Electronics.

WCCFTech however first reported in April of Skylake's downfall, saying: "While the processors are meant to offer an upgrade to the current desktop parts, they are not going to be a high-performance capable chip like the Devil's Canyon which was built to handle higher overclocks and featured faster clock speeds."

The site furthered that "the sole intention of the new processors is to offer better performance to Mini-PCs and All-In-Ones with the latest BGA and LGA parts."

Design

Said to be available in two variants-a 13-inch and a 15-inch version-the laptop is reported to be lighter in weight and thinner than its predecessors at 11.5 mm. The screen will also boast a Retina display enhanced for richer and more vibrant colors.

MacBook Air 2015 will carry a 4 GB of RAM and an expandable 128 GB to 256 GB external storage capacity, while its premium version will have an 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of external storage capacity.

Backlit keyboard will remain but character tiles will be replaced by new buttons made of stronger materials for a more convenient typing experience.

Price

MacBook Air 2015 is expected to cost a jaw-dropping US $100 price, the cheapest in Apple's history. However, readers are recommended to take this news with a pinch of salt since Apple has not confirmed it yet. For some experts, this seems possible because Skylake itself would already cost much.
