Vincent and Cat will have to think of a way to take down Liam in "Beauty and the Beast" season 3 episode 12 titled, "Sins of the Fathers." As the couple tries to beat the beast, JT realizes the only possible way of getting himself healed.

According to The Futon Critic, the new episode of the Jay Ryan-Kristin Kreuk series will delve deeper into the history of Ellingsworth family, exposing shocking truths about Liam, played by guest star Jason Gedrick.

In episode 12, Cat will discover the tragic past of Liam's family as she tries to learn more about them. She and Vincent will then realize that they must use their secret weapon in order to beat Liam in this fight.

While Vincent and Cat face their battle against Liam, JT is still looking for a cure that he could use for himself. An idea will hit him in the next episode, but it will turn out to be very risky as it involves Liam. Will he tell Vince and Cat about his theory? Or will he secretly try to communicate with Liam to help him?

"Sins of the Fathers" follows the "Unbreakable" episode of the CW series where Vincent agreed to work with Liam to keep their identities hidden from the public, Latin Post reported. Vincent and Cat have been tailing Liam for quite some time now but it seems Vincent decided to go easy on the beast since working with him could be the only way to prevent the truth about the beasts from spilling out.

"Beauty and the Beast" is just inches away from its third season finale but fans of the supernatural series will have to wait a little longer before they can watch season 3 finale. Carter Matt reported that the ultimate episode titled, "Til Death Do Us Part" won't be aired on September 3. A repeat telecast of "Patient X" will be aired since releasing the finale right before Labor Day Weekend may not be that wise, the site noted.

Vincent and Cat might use their secret weapon against Liam in the "Sins of the Fathers" episode but their decision might be affected by JT's theory that only Liam can help him become serum-free.
