Season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory" is one of the most hotly-anticipated premieres on TV this fall due to the events during its last season finale. Fans are waiting if Sheldon and Amy will try to work their relationship out and if Penny and Leonard will really walk down the aisle.

Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler in the series, recently spilled some details about the events in "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 opener. According to Design and Trend, Bialik wrote on her blog that the premiere will be a very funny episode with the inclusion of Kevin Sussman's Stuart.

However, the actress also pointed out that episode 1 "doesn't tie everything up," which means some of the loose ends last season may still be left hanging.

"Our show rarely does that," Bialik explained. "It's a lot of group scenes, and some really good one-on-one scenes as well. Kevin Sussman ("Stuart") is back with some lines that are making me crack up in rehearsal already."

It was previously reported that the upcoming season might tackle the background of Bialik's character, which is good news for Amy's fans. The truth behind Sheldon's ring will also be discussed immediately since the ninth season will pick up less than 24 hours after the season 8 finale.

According to the official synopsis of the series released by CBS via TVLine, Sheldon will try to solve the mystery of women asking for a time a part to think. He will try to unravel the answers to exactly how much time does Amy need to clear her mind and if there's a way to speed things up.

The synopsis also hinted a much bigger conflict between Penny and Leonard. Although the two will be walking down the aisle, Penny may back down after learning about Leonard's infidelity. Will she become a runaway bride in Las Vegas?

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 opener will be hilarious according to Mayim Bialik while Penny and Leonard walk down the aisle in Las Vegas despite the latter's confession about his infidelity. Find out if the wedding will push through when the hit sitcom returns to CBS on September 21.
