Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Update: OTA & Custom Release for Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, Note 4, and More

A series of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop releases both over-the-air update and custom ROMs has been made available to a bunch of Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets for a couple of weeks now. Here is a rundown of which already received the update, which is following next, and which models has yet to wait.

Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE

A custom ROM developed by a community of Android users based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop stock firmware has already been released to Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE models. The custom Android 5.1.1 Lollipop named Paranoid brings in fixes to problems and errors brought by 5.1 as well as performance optimization and battery improvements.

The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Paranoid custom ROM features LED options on boot, new key controls, new display with enable and disable option, Android M series wallpapers, tinnier battery padding options, and new translation features, among others.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4
