Intel Acquires Aepona of Amadeus

Aepona, a cloud-based network solutions company, has been acquired by Intel. Amadeus Capital Partners is the biggest venture financier of Aepona. Other details of the deal were not disclosed.

Aepona was co-founded by Gilbert Little, a Dublin entrepreneur, with headquarters at Sri Lanka, Bristol, Wicklow, Belfast, California and Denver and at present have 70 employed staff. Amadeus Capital Partners is one of Europe's major investors in technology that began in 1997. The firm was able to raise more than GBP500 million for investment and has financed more than 85 companies in information technology. 

It was in 2003 when Aepona was first financed by Amadeus together with other corporations like SAP and Blackberry Partners and Irish and French venture capital financiers. It was the original designer of the OneAPI Technology that is presently being used globally by majority of mobile carriers. It is the third victorious mobile technology business that Gilbert Little founded.
