Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are the newest favorite BFFs in town. The two funny and smart creatures took a get together summer vacation and showed everyone on Instagram the fun they had.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence and Trainwreck comedy actress Amy Schumer are currently in what seemed to be a budding friendship of coolness. In an Instagram post by Amy Schumer on Thursday, she posted a photo of her grinning widely at the backseat of a jet ski being driven by Jennifer Lawrence that she captioned: "JLaw #maniac"

Another snap post was of an all-women group picture. "Binders of women," Schumer captioned the group shot with her friends on the float in the water. In it toward the back is a smiling, bikini-clad Lawrence, lifting her arms and feet in the air.

Schumer and Lawrence's budding friendship is relatively new. On July 9, the Comedy Central actress posted a funny reaction video via Instagram after she saw Lawrence saying her name at Comic-Con. "Please donate so Amy Schumer will be Bachelorette," the Hunger Games star says in the clip, which prompts Schumer to lift her arms wide and open her mouth in excitement.

Schumer, 34, had an appearance in "The Bachelorette" months earlier,  where she helped the male contestants perform stand-up comedy on the second group date. The guesting made the fans crazy, raving on Schumer becoming the next Bachelorette.  It is known that Lawrence, 24, is a reality-show fan and in an interview at Comic-Con in San Diego, she pitched the idea of a Kickstarter to get Schumer to sign on as the next Bachelorette, which Schumer said she'd do for $1 million.

Apparently, the two equally talented and beautiful actresses share the same interests. They are both reality-show fans. Schumer has become a household name with her raucous, crude and incredibly unapologetic TV sketches, and Lawrence has never shied away from innuendo and inappropriate jokes. They both speak their mind and pretense is never their style.

Fans are now on tenterhooks for a possible comedy or movie that Jennifer and Amy could make and star together.
