The IMF and Ethan Hunt are back set to face another seemingly impossible mission in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. A stunt featurette had been released in Youtube showing actor Tom Cruise' thoughts and preparations before doing one of his death-defying stunt of hanging outside of a plane.

Ethan Hunt is back along with his team as they are embarked to complete an impossible mission once again and take down the Syndicate. Trailers for the movie have been released in the past showing actor Tom Cruise  as Hunt in his heart-stopping stunts.

In Ghost Protocol, fans witnessed Cruise climb the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Cruise previously hanged on the outside of the building with special gloves allowing him to stick to the windows. In the upcoming Rogue Nation however, Cruise  has decided to do another death-defying stunt.

In the trailer of the upcoming movie, Cruise can be seen hanging outside of an airplane mid take off, frantically asking Simon Pegg's Benji Dunn to hack into the plane's system and open its door. But it's not just some other stunt as Cruise personally did it, and even shared his thoughts before performing it.

Fans can check out this recently released stunt featurette link on YouTube.

"I couldn't sleep the night before, and then came the day. I was like, 'OK, this is really going to happen,'" Cruise said. "If something went wrong, I can't get into the airplane until we land." he added. Cruise also admitted that performing the stunt terrified him, "I'm feeling the force of the wind hit me. I'm actually scared shitless,"  he said.

But the scene which was expected to be shot in one take, even had to be done 8 times to be completed, which also meant Cruise had to put his life in danger 8 times.

Director Christopher McQuarrie previously revealed that he pitched the airplane stunt to Cruise half jokingly. "They brought me this plane, and I was looking at the model," McQuarrie revealed earlier this year.

'What if you were on the outside of this plane?' I was kinda half joking when I said it, and he just looked at me and said, 'Yeah, I could do that.'" he added. And so, the dangerous stunt was eventually performed and completed without anyone getting hurt.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, Ving Rhames, and Hermione Corfield. It will soon hit theaters  in July 31, 2015.
