"Sense8" really took Netflix subscribers by storm. With its unconventional theme and ambitious story, no wonder viewers are clamouring for a second season, which might see more intimate scenes done telepathically between its characters. Although its return is uncertain, the Wachoswskis and J. Michael Straczynski remain hopeful and have actually prepared a five year arc for the show.

Until now, Netflix has not officially renewed their new sci-fi series despite the massive support its first season garnered.

Recently, co-creator J. Michael Straczynski told the "Sense8" fans at San Diego Comic-Con that the whole season 1 is being watched "straight through - three, four, six times," a clear indication that the viewers can't get enough of it. We previously reported that this news gives him and the Wachowski siblings, co-creators of the show, hope that the Internet streaming giant will greenlight season 2 one of these days.

"Sense8" instantly became one of the top-rated shows on Netflix considering it just ended its pilot season. It easily earned positive response from the audience for its boldness in tackling issues like gender and sexuality. However, some intimate scenes in season 1 garnered mixed reactions from the viewers.

Fans over The Escapist aired their opinions about the said intimate scenes between the sensates. While diehards commend the Netflix show for being different from others under the same genre, some find the intimate scenes a little too much. But since the characters of the show will always be connected with each other, viewers can expect more of those scenes if "Sense8" get renewed.

The Guardian reported that Straczynski and the Wachowskis already have a five-year plan for the series, which just makes the fans even more excited as to how the stories of the sensates will develop in the future.

"Sense8" season 2 might see more of the intimate scenes between the cast members if Netflix officially confirms it. And if the show gets lucky enough, it might even go as longer as season 5 since showrunners J. Michael Straczynski and the Wachowskis already have a five-year plan for the series.
