Waiting for "Sense8"'s renewal has been hard for the fans of the show. Netflix has not yet announced the show's return but co-creator J. Michael Straczynski said that he remains hopeful that the streaming giant will renew the show in the following weeks. While fans' supports pour out online, others also pinpoint the weakness of the show.

J. Michael Straczynski attended the San Diego Comic-Con and gave some hints about his projects including "Sense8." The Netflix original created by Straczynski and The Wachowskis managed to draw a large number of viewers as it tackles issues about gender, identity, and human connections.

However, Netfix has not yet officially renewed the show at the moment leaving the "Sense8" diehards in the waiting game for an indefinite timeframe. But Strazynski admits that he is hopeful that the series will get its second season as representatives of the web streaming giant have told him about the viewers' massive support for the show, reports Comic Book Resources.

While the show gets online support from its fans, some critics gave it negative reviews. An article from the Vulture mentioned that the events on "Sense8" negates the theory it promotes wherein mutation caused people to lose their ability to share telepathic contact with other people, making them capable of killing one another. Wolfgang blowing up Steiner with a rocket launcher and a Sun-possessed Capheus chopping off some guy's hand are mentioned as examples.

However, Daryl Hannah, Angelica Turing in the series, says that there is still so much to be revealed in the show that will expand the mind and the heart of the audience. Fans and critics of the sci-fi series should probably watch out for those revelations.

"Sense8" season 2 may still remain unconfirmed but co-creator J. Michael Straczynski remains hopeful together with its fans that the Internet streaming giant will announce its renewal soon despite the negative response from other critics.
