Monster Hunter X is not getting a lot of news lately, although several gameplay details have already been revealed in past reports by Capcom. Fans of the franchise would not be left empty-handed, however, as Monster Hunter 4 actually gets new downloadable content for this month of July. While cross-over entries may be expected, it's not something features. Rather, some other interesting additions are included instead.

As was previously announced here in Venture Capital Post, Monster Hunter X was already confirmed for the 3DS console during the Japanese Nintendo Direct. In the trailer, there were intriguing techniques like that of the Hunting Arts and the Hunting Styles.

Moreover, there are four main monsters which players will come across. The first one would be reminiscent of the Brute Wyvern for Hunters. The second is the Flying Wyvern. The third is noted to be the largest one, referred to as the Fanged Beast, with its large tusks and all. Lastly, there would be the Leviathan-type monster, which is equipped with flexible control over its body to attack Hunters.

As for fresher news, a recent games article talked about the upcoming DLC for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate this month of July. The pack would come with 3 full armor sets, 5 new weapons, a Palico armor and weapon set, "Brown Pal" as the bonus Palico, 14 new quests, 7 Guild Card titles, as well as 3 Guild Card backgrounds.

This upcoming pack would already be the fifth DLC Capcom has provided for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. It should be noted, though, that it will not yet include the Universal Studios Japan Star Knight, but the developer already said it's on its way.

Monster Hunter X will be out in Japan during the winter season. An exact release date or window still has to be announced by Capcom when it comes to western countries. In the meantime, followers of the series should watch out for new content coming to Monster Hunter 4, which will surely amplify the excitement in gameplay.
