While its release date is still years away, details about the Inhumans are slowly being revealed in the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Although not confirmed yet, the movie might be directed by Adam McKay. 

In the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Skye and Agent Coulson talked about creating a  team that will complete secret missions for the government. Because of that, fans speculated that the team they might be making is the Secret Warriors, a team made up of Inhumans. Secret Warriors will reportedly be part of  S.H.I.E.L.D. in fighting evil forces on earth.

Based on the events from the TV show, fans speculate that the movie Inhumans, which will be released in 2019, might include the character of Agent Skye, who will act as the team leader of the Secret Warriors. It might also include Agent Coulson who will serve as the team's organizer as well as Moreso, Sparkplug, and Darklog.

In the show, Inhumans and S.H.I.E.L.D. seem to find it hard to deal with each other peacefully. And so, Clark Gregg who plays the role of Phil Coulson, was asked as about whether or not there is a possibility for the two groups to co-exist peacefully, and eventually have a happy ending, to which Gregg replied, "It's set up in a way at this point where it's hard to imagine anything but full-scale war between S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Inhumans.

It's something that's kind of hinted at in some of the stuff that Lincoln says about the fanatical dedication to secrecy that the Inhumans have that certainly makes sense to anyone whose familiar with the Inhumans of the comic book world, who had hidden their existence from humans for many years." he said.

While the cast for the movie Inhumans has not been confirmed yet, Anchorman director Adam McKay is rumored to direct the film. Producer Kevin Fiege revealed that the studio is considering McKay for the film.

They also reportedly seem to be impressed with McKay's work with Ant-Man and now consider having him in other projects for Marvel. "Adam McKay is in the running for everything. Adam McKay is a great, great writer and director," Fiege revealed

"He did an amazing pass on the Ant-Man draft with Paul Rudd for us, and I didn't know him before then. And we got to know him through that and liked him very much, and have met with him a number of times trying to find something else, so we've talked about a lot of characters with him." he added.

Details about the movie is limited as of now, but more details are expected to be revealed in the coming months. Inhumans is set to hit theaters in July 12, 2019.
