Alien 5 is currently on the works, and the movie will include actors from the original film to reprise their roles. Sigourney Weaver is in, and Bill Paxton expressed his interest in reprising his role as Private William Hudson.

Neill Blomkamp is set to direct the sequel of Ridley Scott's 1979 film, 'Alien', and James Cameron's 1986 film, Aliens. Blomkamp and Scott even reportedly talked in order to ensure that Alien 5's story will not overlap with Scott's Prometheus 2.

While details for the movie is still scarce, reports suggest that some of the cast of the original Alien movie will be back to reprise their roles. Sigourney Weaver is on board and is set to reprise her role as the movie's heroine Ellen Ripley.

Actor Bill Paxton also expressed his interest in coming back for the film saying, "I mean, if you're going to bring Hicks back, you've got to have Hudson," Paxton played the role of Private William Hudson in the original film. Michael Biehn is also rumored to be back to play Corporal Dwayne Hicks.

Filming for Alien 5 might start in Vancouver this fall, where other Hollywood films were also filmed. Some of these films are Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Godzilla, Deadpool, and Man of Steel.

Although there are no official announcements regarding the film's plot yet, basing on Blomkamp's Instagram posts, many speculate that of course, xenomorphs will be back, and that Weyland-Yutani might eventually take hold of the engineer's ship and the Xenomorph's eggs. It will reportedly take place after Scott's Prometheus and its sequel, while the timeline will be close to Aliens and Alien 3.

Although Ridley Scott is not directing the sequel of his original film, he will be producing Alien 5 along with Blomkamp, as well as Prometheus 2. Alien 5 is said to be scheduled for released some time in 2016.
