A classic tale of sibling rivalry will be expected for the fourth season of "Vikings" as it has been revealed that King Ragnar Lothbrok, played by Travis Fimmel, will be coming back in order to deal with his brother Rollo, played by Clive Standen, to punish him for betraying him in the last season.

The final episode of season 3 of "Vikings" showed King Ragnar in a life and death situation. He will redeem himself in the upcoming season of the show, according to International Business Times. In the publication's report, the announcement came from the series creator Michael Hirst.

Michael Hirst shared with The Hollywood Reporter that Rollo will be seen in one episode saying this line: "It's not just going to be a Viking army coming up the Seine towards us. It's going to be Ragnar Lothbrok." Rollo will be talking to Frankish people deemed important in the show and King Ragnar should not be underestimated.

The fourth season of the show might be a great success for King Ragnar as he could conquer Paris alongside his son Bjorn Ironside, played by Alexander Ludwig, who will also be finding love in the upcoming episodes. Aside from conquering Paris, King Ragnar is also expected to be back in England as he searches for a farming land for his people because it matters a lot to him to help the people under his ruling.

As for the love life of Bjorn, actress Dianne Doan from "Once Upon A Time" is expected to debut her character for the fourth season. She will reportedly be playing a vital role as the love interest of Bjorn but details about her character remains unknown and under the wraps.

Other characters who will be entering the fourth season of "Vikings" are Halfdan the Black, played by Jasper Paakkonen, and King Herald Finehair, played by Peter Franzen. Franen will be playing the role of a Scandinavian warrior while Paakkonen will be the younger brother of Franen.

The fourth season of the History Channel primetime show will be airing by 2016 with no final release date yet.
