The Huntsman, a prequel of the 2014 hit movie, Snow White and the Huntsman, is currently in the works. But this time, Snow White, previously played by Kristen Stewart, will not be included in the film. More villains are also reportedly included in the story.

Although talks about actress Kristen Stewart to be in the upcoming movie The Huntsman, the producers of the film reportedly decided against it. Stewart's exclusion from the film is reportedly due to her fling with the movie's director, Rupert Sanders.

But even though Snow White will not be included in the movie, her love interest, William, played by Sam Claffin will return for the movie. In the movie Snow White and the Huntsman, William was Snow White's childhood friend who broke the spell casted on her by kissing her.

Aside from William, the evil queen Ravenna, few of the dwarves, and of course, the Huntsman will also reportedly return for the prequel.

Queen Ravenna, played by actress Charlize Theron will now be joined by her equally powerful (and possibly evil) sister, who will be played by "A Most Violent Year" actress Emily Blunt. The dwarves will also return, and they will be played by Nick Frost, Rob Brydon, Alexandra Roach, and Sheridan Smith.

The Huntsman's plot will reportedly revolve around Eric, played by Chris Hemsworth, and Queen Ravenna, and how their path's met before Snow White came.

The movie will be directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan and the script will be written by Frank Darabont. It will be overseen  by studio executives Maradith Frenkel and Chloe Yellin. Palak Patel will be the movie's executive producer, and produced by Joe Roth.

The Huntsman is hoped to be a success after its prequel of Snow White and the Huntsman grossed $396 million. The Huntsman is slated for release on April 22, 2016.
