The shocking finale of Grimm's 4th season got a lot of fans wondering how the story will continue after Juliette's death. Does her death foretell that a new love story will develop between Nick and other female characters in the story?

All throughout season 4, it has been a big confusing question as to how Juliette and Nick's love story will end, but the season finale settled everything after Juliette's died.  Nick seeks for revenge as he realized Juliette's role in his mother's death. He tried choking her, which she pleaded him to do, but all to no avail as he is bound by his love for her. Trubel arrives, and ended up shooting Juliette with her crossbow. During the final part of the episode of the season finale, Juliette can be seen dying in Nick's arms.

Although Juliette's death came as a shock to fans, many of them are still hoping for her return in the next season. Their hope is due to the fact that in the past seasons, Capt. Sean Renard's character was also believed to be dead, only to return alive in the next season.

But sadly, the possibility of Juliette's return is unlikely as one of the show's executive producers, Jim Kouf admitted that they are planning to give Juliette and Nick's story a different end. When asked about Juliette's possibility of being alive,  "It's a good question. The answer is ... possibly not," he said.

"I think it keeps everyone on edge. You don't know what's going to happen. Anything could happen. It seems like a few shows, episode whatever, they get married or they finally get together. We decided to go a different way." he continued.

The show's creators say that in the next season, Nick will be seen mourning over Juliette's death, and living life without her. Kouf's co-executive producer, David Greenwalt reportedly said that Juliette's death will change the dynamics of the show.

As for the question whether or not Nick will understand Trubel's decision to kill Julietle, Greenwalt is positive that he will.  "Well, Trubel did what she had to do. What was the choice? Let Juliette kill Nick? And hold that against her? No. That's my personal feeling: He's gotta know, being a Grimm, that she had no choice if he were to survive." He said.

With Juliette's death, there's a possibility that a new love story might grow. Creators of the show say that fans should anticipate what will happen between Nick and Adalind as she is carrying his baby. "He's got a child and he's got to step up at some point. He knows he can't abandon his child. He was abandoned." Kouf said.

Also, another thing to anticipate is how Nick and Trubel's relationship will end up after Juliette's death.

Grimm will return for its fifth season this fall.
