Fans of House of Cards are excited to know if President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) will be winning back the White House and the heart of his estranged wife Claire (Robin Wright). The production team is already gearing up for House of Cards Season 4, and so far the cast has remained secretive on word of the upcoming season.

Viewers of House of Cards  would remember that Claire wanted to feel more significant in House of Cards Season 3. This would lead to Frank nominating her to a United Nations post, but will ultimately be rejected by the Senate. Their relationship would turn rocky as Claire would begin to question if she still loves Frank. In the season finale, Claire leaves Frank. Will the two reconcile in House of Cards Season 4?

"We wanted a little less political intrigue and a little more of the emotional flux. We wanted to tell the story of the marriage," said show creator Beau Willimon. "I'm sure it was hard for them [the fans] to see the Underwoods tumble and sometimes fall. But if they didn't, they wouldn't be human, and it would make it seem like the presidency was a cakewalk, which we know it's not."

There has also been much speculation that Claire will be running for the presidency against her husband. Both will undergo a bitter divorce, and Frank may find a rather dangerous enemy in Claire, who is not one to take her battles sitting down.

"A lot of the strength of the show is based on the strength of that marriage. But as soon as we began to explore that, we realized there was no turning back. We also realized we'd laid the groundwork in the previous two seasons for this conflict between Francis and Claire, and the more we began exploring it, the more inevitable it became. And the more exciting it was for us to travel that emotional terrain." continued Willmon on the House of Cards Season 4 Spoilers

Production has already begun and there has already been a casting call for extras in Annapolis. House of Cards Season 4 is set for a release date in spring of 2016. Are you excited for House of Cards Season 4? Let us know what your predictions are in the comments below.
