Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is already shaping up to be one hit summer movie. The latest updates have teased that two new characters will be making their appearances when the movie hits theaters everywhere next summer. 

According to the latest TMNT 2 Updates, now that a new director has taken the helm, there will be new characters who will be added to the mix. The reports said that Karai, Shredder's daughter will be making an appearance in the next film. She will be played by 34-year old actress Brittany Ishibashi. The actress will be replacing Minae Noji, who played Karai in the previous films. 

Karai has always had a complicated relationship with her father. Their relationship tends to get more complicated from version to version, as one version would portray Shredder as her paternal grandfather, while another will portray Shredder as her adoptive father. Karai also has a complicated somewhat relationship with Leonardo. The relationship is always described as rocky between the two as there is always a lot of mistrust and deception. It would be interesting to see how this version would showcase Karai's relationship with Shredder and Leonardo.

The TMNT 2 Spoilers have also teased that a classic character from the franchise will be making an appearance in the upcoming film. Casey Jones, played by Stephen Amell will also be making an appearance. The apartment building handyman turned vigilante will be given a whole new spin in the movie. From the looks of the teaser picture, Amell's version of Jones looks entirely different from the comic book version. Amell is currently the star of the TV series Arrow and is about to embark as another iconic superhero character in this upcoming film.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will be released on June 3, 2016.
