In developing F1 2015 for Xbox One, and PS4 consoles for the first time, Codemasters has gone beyond boarders to deliver top calibre features for next gen racing title. It has created a brand new EGO Engine 4.0, a powerful iteration of  engine that creates more realistic damage and in-game physics also used to power other upcoming titles from the developer, Dirt 4 and Dirt Rally.

Career Modes

F1 2015 features an improved physics brought about by EGO Engine 4.0 which enhances the handling of cars and the manner of response to player input. The bonus content from the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship also comes with a new championship season and Pro Season Mode. Online practice sessions will also be added to enable players to pit against other online gamers.

Artificial Intelligence System

Such changes on the new racing sim also feed into the Artificial Intelligence System of the game which has an unbelievable natural, organic feel. Codemasters reveals,"This is to such a degree that they'll make moves a human would. They might suddenly switch sides in a braking zone in order to pull off a pass, lock up and just make the apex - but then light up their rear tyres due to the compromised exit."

Live Patches

Despite that the F1 2015 release date is pushed back in July, it is still the earliest in the history of the franchise where gamers can play along as the Formula One season unfolds. While the game will be pack with the complete 2014 season data and pre-Melbourne 2015 landscape at launch, live patches post-launch will bring further updates during the season including real-time performance changes.

 Pit wall interaction

In F1 2015, the ability to receive messages from your engineer  and to feedback with your own is also include. The pit wall will offer support on how to improve performance or gauge on your expertise. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Kinect users can request for a plethora of data and front wing changes at the next pit stop.
