Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ludacris will be back in Fast & Furious 8. With Paul Walker gone, it seems like the movie will be taking in a new addition to the group.

According to MovieNewsGuide, a new character will be added to the FF team played by Cody Walker, Paul's brother who filled in as a body double for the late actor in the last Fast & Furious movie. During the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, Diesel announced the sequel for the FF7. He said the 8th film is "from Paul."

There are still no official plots about the new film, but there are rumors about Cody playing a part in the new film as a new member of Dominic Toretto's gang. Cody has expressed interest to join the team in the past. After doubling for his brother in FF7, Cody is now pursuing an acting career, teaming up with Matt Luber, Paul's Manager.

Meanwhile, there will be a dramatic change in the Fast & Furious 8 film location. It seems like the team is headed to New York. CinemaBlend reported that Diesel posted on his Instagram a graphic teaser with the New York as backdrop. In the post, Diesel said, "Here's a shot of New York City. We're Coming." Diesel confirmed with Jimmy Kimmel in his late night talk show that the new installment will be set in New York.

One of the challenges of the producers is to make the 8th Fast & Furious film bigger and better than the record breaking 7th movie, which is now the fifth highest grossing movie in Hollywood. During the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, Diesel said, "When your brother (referring to Paul) guarantees something, you sometimes feel like you have to make sure it comes to pass."

Also returning in the Fast & Furious 8 is the villain character played by Statham.
