Longmire season 4 Premiere, Spoilers: Lou Diamonds hints fans to expect a 'helluva ride'; Filming takes place in New Mexico and moves to Nevada this Summer

Just when fans are expecting that Longmire won't be back for another season, Netflix dropped one of the most unexpected news, Netflix picked up Longmire for season 4. The stars of the show are currently updating fans with photos taken from the set of the show.

Just before fans could become quite disappointed after A&E announced its decision to cancel the hit show, Netflix came in and announced that it'll take in charge of the show and will renew the show for a fourth season.

Cassidy Freeman who plays the role of Cady Longmire updated the fans about the development of the show, stating that they are currently shooting episode 3 and asks the fans to wait a little bit as they are trying to put something much better for the fans.

The actress had expressed her appreciation for Netflix "Netflix is such a cool platform because of this. They are also real excited about the show and eager for us to let us spread our wings. I think the fans will feel fuller episodes ... more organic feeling stories and no commercials!" she added.  

Meanwhile, actor Lou Diamond Phillips, who portrays the role of Henry Standing Bear assured that fans that this season will put the fans in "for a helluva ride" and that this season wouldn't disappoint the fans. According to reports, production is currently taking place in New Mexico and will be moved to Nevada during the summer.

Longmire ended season 3 with more cliffhangers than answers and fans are expecting all their answers as soon as the season starts airing.

Longmire follows the story of the Walt Longmire, a Wyoming county sheriff who after the tragic death of his wife returned to work and started to investigates major crimes around there area while campaigning for re-election.

Longmire ended its third season on August 4, 2014 and was renewed for season 4 on November 19, 2014 expected to get an air date on Netflix by fall.
