Jason Momoa ("Game of Thrones") has every reason to feel happy these days. His career's soaring, thanks in large part to his awesome portrayal of Khal Drago in the hit tv series "Game of Thrones." Now that he has fitted his costume and ready to get into character as "King of the Seven Seas," prepare to be hooked.

Queried how he felt about the "big" role that landed on his lap, Jason showed excitement and stated that being in "one of the biggest movies in history... playing a superhero" is pretty cool, both for him and his family. Momoa is married to former actress Lisa Bonet and they have two kids named Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.

Before the standalone movie Aquaman hits theaters, Jason Moma is set to appear in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Yes, he'll get to use his bulging biceps to join the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel in the highly anticipated DC movie.

To date, Jason as Aquaman has created major buzz in social media.  Recent announcements of how Aquaman will look like was a thrilling moment for fans. The discussions will most likely continue, since there are talks of Aquaman crossing over to the upcoming Wonder Woman movie, and vice versa. Aquaman won't be shown until 2018, though, giving the rising star lots of time to prep for his big solo movie, and make cameo appearances in other superhero flicks.

As Justice League superhero, Aquaman possesses abilities that include communicating with sea creatures and being sovereign of the oceans. Hence, he'll do what he can to protect the seas, and obstruct threats to it.

It may seem like a character like Aquaman hasn't ignited much attention... until now. As to whether all the buzz will translate to a box office haul, time will tell. One thing looks certain: Aquaman's appearance in big-budget films like "Batman v. Superman" and "Wonder Woman" may pay off.
