In an announcement, THQ Inc has announced that it would be selling its remaining intellectual properties through a  Court supervised sale auction. After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, THQ has sold off a majority of its studios as well as games in development.

Amongst the six IP lots up for sale are its Darksiders title, Red Faction title, Homeworld title, MX title and other software owned by THQ such as Big Beach Sports, Summoner and more. Also included are licensed software such as Marvel Super Hero, Worms and Supreme Commander.

Bidders are required to submit documentation before being allowed to bid, such as complete corp identification, authority to enter into transaction and proof of financial ability. Final bids are required to be submitted by April 15.

The bankruptcy court just last month approved the sale of THQ's studios and games in development for the sum of US$72 million for the lot.
