Rumors have been spreading that long-time couple Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are about to get a divorce.

Since last year, rumors have been circulating that DeGeneres and de Rossi have been having tense fights, living separately, and are getting a divorce. According to OKmagazine, a source tells that DeGeneres has not been spending her time in the couples' home due to a very tense fight. "they are living out their problems apart," and according to the source, this arrangement is not helping the marriage. According to Inquisitir, the couple's busy schedules are also adding fuel to the fire. Report says that the couple are so busy and their priority is no longer the marriage.

On February, during an interview with Good Morning America, de Rossi denied the rumors. In an interview with Robin Roberts, de Rossi joked " 'I was like, "Oh no, what? Are we divorcing again?" Gosh, I can't keep up with it." This statement seems to be true when she added that she and Ellen have been beinge-watching the series Scandal which she later starred in.

But last March, during her interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show, DeGeneres also denied that they are going to get a divorce. 'I'm just more flabbergasted by the fact that someone needs to make up a story,' DeGeneres commented. She also asserted that none of the breaking up rumors are not true and added that ""There's never been a point where we were breaking up or divorcing or fighting,"

Also, recently, the couple was seen spending time together, with no traces of marital problems.

But although their marriage seem to be going strong, DeGeneres clarified that having kids is not a mutual "no" for the couple. In the same interview with Matt Lauer, DeGeneres insisted that while she thinks she might make a good mother, it's not enough a reason, and that it seems like having kids is a long-term commitment that's just not for her.

DeGeneres and de Rossi have been together for almost ten years. They started dating in 2004 and got married in 2008. Since then, the couple have been taking sweet and intimate photos together in social media sites which proves that the divorce rumors are erroneous.
