In a few months, Dragon Ball Super TV series will finally air after the Anime show has hibernated for more than a decade - around 18 years, to be more specific. The last time this series was seen on television was back in 1996 to 1997 in the form of Dragon Ball GT.

A lot of excitement is in the air not just for the fans, but even Masako Nozawa, who voices over Goku, Goten and Gohan, is ecstatic. Anime News Network quotes the Japanese voice actress, "We've always used the word 'cho' (Super) with Dragon Ball in commercials, games and the like, but the fact that the series titled Dragon Ball Super is beginning is the best thing ever."

One thing many anticipating viewers are wondering about would be the plot of this new show. The producer of Fuji TV, Osama Nozaki made the respective comment, "As I read the plot I've already received from Akira Toriyama, my dreams for this begin to expand. An enemy even stronger than Buu or Freiza may appear..."

He feels confident that this will not only attract the ones who have been loyal to Dragon Ball, but a new generation of followers would also surface. Moreover, the time setting of Dragon Ball Super will be several years after Majin Buu was defeated, where the main characters reunite to keep on finding ways to keep peace on Earth.

The premiere is scheduled on July, every Sunday at 9am, on Fuji TV and a few other channels. There are surely a lot more updates to come on the Dragon Ball Super TV series; hence, fans should check for new information once in a while. In the meantime, supporters should also be alert for the screening of the film "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" as this has already premiered in Japan, and should eventually reach other countries soon.
