Android 5.0 and 5.0.1 updates for Samsung Galaxy S4, Asus ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4.5, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 6 now available

An Android 5.0 OTA update is now available for ZenFone 4, 4.5, 5, and 6 devices. The update will bring various features such as Material Design language, upgraded Kindle, Asus Webstorage, and many more. A new stock Android Lollipop (I9505XXUHOD7) for the Galaxy S4 Inernational LTE model is also available. Further, a guide is given to install the stock build.
Android 5.0 updates of ZenFone devices
Owners of ZenFone 4, 4.5, 5, and 6 can now receive Android 5.0 OTA update for their devices in the coming months. Specifically, Asus reportedly said that the ZenFone 5 LTE (A500KL) is going to receive the Lollipop upgrade in this month, the ZenFone 4 (A400CG/A450CG), ZenFone 5 (A500CG), and ZenFone 6 (A600CG) are going to have the Android 5.0 update in the middle of this month.
The Android update size is around 820 MB. It will upgrade Kindle, Asus Webstorage, Super Note apps, new lock screen, standby wallpaper, Material Design language, changes to the quick settings/recent app layouts (for 1 G RAM versions only), improved Dialer and Contacts, removal of in-call animation and cover, addition of My Ocean wallpaper, Day Scene Live Wallpaper, TripAdvisor, Asus Auto-start Service Manager app, improved VOIP calls, and music function.
There should be an update notification to appear on the device, but if not, users can manually check the upgrade by going to Settings>About phone>System updates.
Android 5.0.1 update for Galaxy S4
Samsung also released a new stock Android Lollipop (I9505XXUHOD7) for the Galaxy S4 International LTE model that uses the quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU. Though it is mainly available in Germany, owners can connect their devices to the Samsung Kies server and check for the update. However, the unit should be an unlocked GT-I9505 in order to install the stock build.
