GTA V PC mods may have been rendered useless thanks to the latest patch for the game

Aside from simply fixing a few bugs, improving the game's system, and adding some minor features as most patches usually do, it looks as though the latest patch for Grand Theft Auto V on the PC is also intended to do away with mods altogether.

Patch 350.1 apparently makes Script Hook V unusable for the game, and that's an issue, because that is precisely what players utilize when they are introducing mods into the game.

Players can get around this issue if they play using older versions of Grand Theft Auto V, but doing so would mean that they would have to download the files from unofficial sources unless they somehow thought ahead and backed up their game files, according to Gamespot.

Rockstar Games has stated before that their official stance on mods is that they do not support them, but that hasn't discouraged players from altering the game in some weird and wacky ways. Those days may be done at this point, but a new update could still rectify the issue.

Rockstar Games has thus far not commented on whether or not they intended to affect mods with the latest patch, according to Express UK.

As for the rest of the patch, it does indeed provide those bug fixes, system improvements, and minor feature additions that people would have expected.

Some of the more notable changes coming via the patch include vehicles in the player's garage inexplicably being replaced by cars that were on the street, according to Twinfinite.

Another fix related to the garage now addresses the problem where some players were unable to exit the garage if they happened to be inside of a personal vehicle.

Crashes that also took place when players were moving from one job to another in GTA Online were also addressed via the latest patch.
