'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Announced To Be Aired Next Year; Some AOT Fans Skeptical On Live-Action Movie

Last Saturday, the second season of "Attack On Titan" was announced to air next year. Aside from season 2,  "Shingeki no Kyojin Kōhen ~Jiyū no Tsubasa~" or "Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom," the second anime compilation announced its release date on June 27, 2015.

During the event of announcement, voice actors Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), Yuuki Kaji (Eren), Marina Inoue (Armin) and director Tetsuro Araki attended.

This news came from Anime News Network. According to the source, Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the first season. Meanwhile, the live-action cast unveiled their costumes last Wednesday. This is the second half of the spin-off novel series titled "Harsh Mistress of the City." While some AOT fans are very skeptical about the live-action, the second half of the spin-off novel's story reportedly will be released in North America in August and September. 

According to Crunchy Roll, Ryo Kawakami was the one who wrote the story. The story revolves to Mathias and Rita. Mathias is the son of wealthy merchants, while and Rita is the daughter of an apothecary. 

Rita joins the military Garrison. When the chaos in Kunita District occurs and the Titan breaks the Wall Maria, Mathias joins the bandits.

Speaking of "Attack On Titan," some AOT fans are skeptical about the live-action movie according to Kotaku.  According to the source, there are many complaints spread online. The source added that fans "are just are protective of the original works" ("Attack On Titans series) and want the original work to be respected.

Talking about the live-action, there's a theater Ads and Standee for the upcoming movie. According to Crunchy Roll, visitors may take a photo inside the mouth of the Titan.

The live-action flick has two parts. Part 1: Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan is slated in Japan on August 1. Second part  Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan: End of the World  to be released on September 19. Meanwhile, a Japanese lottery Ichiban Kuji (a lottery that giving anime, manga and video game related stuff) is reportedly to hold "Attack On Titan" edition in May. The theme of the prizes is based on Female Titan's arc story.

Anime News Network reported that Prize A is 17.5 centimeter-high (6.9 inch) figure of Eren on horseback. While Prize B  is Levi on horseback. Prize C is based on the spin-off "No Regrets;" Prize D is tissue case with chibi figurine of Mikasa and Prize D is figurine of Hanji.
