Harry Styles, one of the most popular members of One Direction was killed, over the internet. Yes, this was just a hoax and apparently, someone would just like to make fun of the singer's millions of fans.

According to one source, the rumors spread so fast on Facebook that a lot of his followers started writing their messages on the singer's page. However, Styles' camp already provided an official statement that the singer is very much alive and kicking. Quite frankly, these celebrity death jokes are getting boring.

When the news broke out, not everyone was convinced that it actually happened. Some questioned its authenticity provided that most of the biggest networks in Britain has not released similar news.

This was not the first time that Styles became a victim of internet hoax. A year ago, there were claims that the member of the popular boy band died in a car crash. It was reported that he was driving a friend's car and met an accident which caused the vehicle to roll several times.

There are few stars who became victims of the internet hoax this 2015. We have Ricky Martin, Will Smith and even Rowan Atkinson to name a few. Of course, their representatives were quick enough to dismiss the rumor. After all, they wouldn't want thousands of flowers, specifically for the dead, to be delivered to the celebrities' doorsteps.

Whoever made this 'Harry- Styles-is-dead' joke will either be dead, or will be treated like a big joke considering the number of One Direction's fans. Well, maybe he is after the attention. Dude, you got your wish, and I don't think you will like it. For those who are attempting to do the same over the cyberworld, think again. There is nothing funny about killing a person, literally or just for entertainment's sake.
