If Tekken 7 featured new Arabian fighting character for gameplay, another new unnamed female character alleged to be Filipino. Bandai Namco hasn't said anything about this rumour, but a lot of fans speculated that this new female fighter is from the Philippines.

Leaked images were released online, through the efforts of some Korean fans through the official site of Tekken that featured new sets of fighting characters for the upcoming game. Among those interesting characters listed, this unnamed character is the most noticeable.

Based from the initial view of this image, it can be perceived that the character is inspired from the Filipino flag. The female character is wearing a costume designed closely relative to the Philippine national flag. As noticed from the image per se, it took some of the inspirations from the flag that outlined her outfit with matching necklace.

"Her outfit and necklace appear to take some inspiration from the National Flag of The Philippines," The Fighters Generation said.

In addition to justify this claim, previously, Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 7 producer, had previous discussions with fans asking about the possible of having a Filipino character. Amid uncertainty, it might be that this new female character is Tekken's first Filipino character.

Korean fans were able to access some of the game developer's leaked character data lead to this information of having new female character to expect in the fighting game, as saying, "Fans over in Korea have managed to access some new character data (possibly via Tekken.net) it looks like Jin Kazama and Devil Jin are planned for the game. In addition, a new female character (possibly Filipino) and a rather "beastly" creature are also shown."

Meanwhile, the game developer has excluded blood in the entire fighting scenes so as to prevent M-rating from ESRB. This particular rating is a requirement needed for games to sell in United States. So, in order to prevent possibility of having lesser sales, Harada might have thought ensuring that Tekken 7 will suit to all ages by having no blood. Instead, they just include dirt and water for character's details.

Tekken 7, rumoured to have it developed using Unreal Engine 4, will be released in PS4, Xbox One this March.
