Things are getting more suspenseful in 'The Bold and the Beautiful' this week. According to an article posted by the International Business Times about the show, it is clear that Nicole has a personal agenda besides wanting to see her sister when she arrived at the Forrester estate. After having a confrontation with Maya in the mansion, where Nicole threatened her sister Maya with a secret that could potentially put her in a bad spot, Nicole began to blackmail Maya into giving her what she wants - starting with a modelling career.

Knowing Maya, it was obvious that she was not going to give in without a fight. In the March 17 recap released by She Knows Soaps, Maya approached Carter and asked him to do a background check on Nicole to find out why she stayed in the mansion. Carter's investigation revealed that Nicole quit her study in UCLA, which gave Maya an edge to kick her sister out of the Forrester estate. In spite of Maya's attempts to use this, though, Nicole stood firm and stated that she can take everything away from Maya with just one word. Whatever this secret is, it is probably something that may significantly affect Maya's relationship with Rick if she is going through great lengths just to make sure that Nicole does not spill anything out.

Meanwhile, Brooke's situation has left her depressed for quite a while. After losing the battle with Quinn, her life started spiraling downward that she has developed a drinking problem. Fortunately, Brooke received some help and encouragement from Katie and Bill, who came back from their honeymoon in Aspen to see her. Deacon apparently still feels something for Brooke, as he came to her and gave his assurance that he will help her with what she is facing.

There will be no episodes for 'The Bold and the Beautiful' this Thursday and Friday, so here are the spoilers for the Wednesday episode:

• Wyatt feels that Deacon and Brooke still have a romantic connection, so he discourages Quinn from rushing into marriage.
• Things are starting to get out of hand between Nicole and Maya.
