This Monday at the Apple Spring Forward Event, we heard Apple talking about its upcoming devices. The event started with the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook announced a partnership between HBO and Apple. He announced that the HBO Now will be made exclusively accessible through Apple TV. It announced the successful sales of their iPhones and the growing support of Apple Pay. They talked about Macbooks and software and application updates. But as the event had ended, there had been no mention of the iPod Touch 6th Gen.

Traditionally, iPod models are being released at the September of the year. Last September 2014, Apple however did not release a 6th Gen iPod Touch. Fans had speculated that the Apple Incorporation had devoted its time and effort to their smart phones like the iPhone 6, 6s, and 7. But at the current year, the attention has been shifted to the Retina MacBook and Apple Watch which were revealed at the Spring Forward Event.

There had been reports that the iPod Touch 6th Gen release had been postponed due to supply issues, The Christian Post reports. Other theories include that the Apple Watch, being an all-rounded device, had replaced the premiere media device, the iPod Touch completely. So fans need not expect to see any 6th Gen iPod Touch. Apple still has not confirmed these allegations.

But if ever Apple pushes through with the plan on producing a 6th Generation iPod Touch, it would be the most exquisite media device. Aside from allegedly having the same design as that of the iPhone 6, its screen would be larger like the 6 Plus. There could be two models, the 4.7 inch and 5.7 inch model. And its probable release date would be on the fall of this year which is most likely on September according to Master Herald. Fans will just have to wait.
