The sixteenth installment in the third season of 'Arrow' titled 'The Offer' is still two weeks away, but even as we fans eagerly wait to see what happens to Oliver and his gang at Starling City, we are already being teased on what to expect.

CW released a set of eighteen promotional images for the next episode a few days ago, giving us a glimpse of things to come - Nyssa and Laurel coming together, the introduction of a new villain, as well as Oliver, Diggle and Malcolm returning to Starling City safely. Given that last part, can we safely assume that Oliver has accepted Ra's al Ghul's offer of replacing him as the head of the League of Assassins?

According to the teaser video, it appears to likely happen.

In the video, we hear Ra's declaring: "Oliver Queen is a man destined to be alone. Your city will turn on you, your closest allies will call you a criminal. You will be scorned, and hunted, and then killed. But I can give you a whole world to save. There is more than one path to justice," and in the final moments, we hear Oliver seriously contemplating on accepting the offer by saying, "Maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul."

It is no secret to us that throughout the course of Season 3, Oliver has had issues with himself as the city's protector, especially after having a near-death experience in 'The Climb'. So being offered a different path than what he is already used to and accepting it may not be far from what could happen.

It is interesting how things will play out between Oliver and Nyssa though, given that Nyssa is 'heir to the Demon' and her discovery of the situation may spark a feud not just between her and Oliver, but even with her father. 'Arrow' writer Andrew Kreisberg stated in an interview with TVLine:

"Nyssa is the Heir to the Demon, so you can imagine how she feels when she finds out that what she considered to be her birthright is being handed to Oliver."

'Arrow' returns to the small screens this March 18.
