'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' News: New images of Gal Gadot show her WONDER-ful body
Ever since Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming DC blockbuster 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', she has been the subject of numerous criticism - most particularly due to her slender frame, which they thought to be "too skinny" for the Amazonian princess.
Even after Gadot showed off the results of her training with Mark Twight last year, coupled with Zack Snyder's release of the actress in the Wonder Woman outfit, there were still a lot of fans who questioned whether she was the right fit for the most iconic superheroine of all time.
Fortunately, photos of the actress' that surfaced on the web several hours ago may start to put those critical voices to rest. In a photoshoot that she did with Castro Active recently, Gadot displayed that all those months of hard work in the gym have paid off - and many actually believe that they did. Those images showed that Gadot's figure is getting a lot closer to that warrior body that is expected of her character.
Of course, there is no denying that in just a few short days, those 'Gadot haters' would come out, scrutinize the latest images of the actress and say, "She's still too thin." After seeing the changes in Gadot's figure though, many of those who formerly criticized her are now more convinced that she is the right actress for the role when it comes to having the right body.
Regarding how her acting would bring the beloved Amazonian princess to the big screen - we cannot not say anything yet. We have only seen Gadot in the Fast and the Furious films (4-6), and she really was not given a lot of stuff to do that would make me decide whether or not she is going to play Wonder Woman well. Her performance in 'Batman v Superman' will be a "trial by fire" in terms of acting.
Needless to say, the latest updates on 'Batman v Superman' show that they are going the right track. Take this with a grain of salt, because we can only say whether the movie is an epic success or failure once it comes out.
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' premiers on March 24, 2016, while a solo Wonder Woman film is scheduled to be release in 2017.
