With Jessica Lange out of the story, is a new character to be introduced in the series or will long time cast Evan Peters remain as the sole lead star of the show? A year ago Lange announced that she was leaving the "American Horror Story". She has played a very significant role in the series ever since she was casted in the season Asylum so leaving the show could possibly affect the show's dynamics. But with Evan Peters, a home-grown talent of the show still in the series, fans are expecting an even more spectacular show as the series welcomes new characters and twists this coming season 5.

Fans of the series has to wait a little bit more since FX Network revealed that the show is still due by October. That's still half a year to go so we can expect more twisted tales of horror and suspense as the network seems to be cooking really big for the show.

Meanwhile, Glee actress Dot-Marie Jones is hoping to land a role in the series. There is really something special with the "feel" of the series that will make actors and actress curious about being part of the production. Jones shared her thoughts on the possibility of working on the series, "That sounds awesome! I just want to work with Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Sara Paulson, that would be a dream come true." Unfortunately, even if she lands a role or even a guest appearance this season 5, Lange wouldn't be a part of the show anymore.

But Ryan Murphy announced his interest in keeping Lange in the show and expressed how he plans to do so. "Everything always starts with the character for Jessica, so I think I need to show her something that would get her interested" - he explained. "Before, I was told: "No!" Now, I hear: "Well, let's keep talking." So I thought it was very ... good sign. I think if you pick a good character for her, and if she would be able to work with her very busy schedule, this might be interesting to her... At least I hope so, " he shares.

The "American Horror Story" Season 4 ended last January 2014 and it has been more than a year of waiting for season 5 to return. It was announced right after the conclusion of season 4 that a season 5 is indeed on the works for the series.

While we had our issues with "Coven" as a whole, which was definitely the most disappointing and shallow "American Horror Story" season yet, we won't deny our excitement for Season 4, and now Season 5. Murphy told Entertainment Weekly, "I have the next two seasons plotted out."

The "American Horror Story" Season 5 returns in October on FX.
