'Justified' season 6 premiered Tuesday with its pilot episode, "Fate's Right Hand', kicking off the final battle between Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder.

According to FX Now Fearless website, in episode one, Rayland mentored Ava how she can snitch on Boyd. He also tried to persuade Dewey to turn against Boyd, although, it was Boyd's plan to mislead the Marshals to track him Dewey and had them believe that he was driving a truckload of drugs only to find out that it was dirty laundry.

Rayland and the rest of the Marshals are working hard to take down Boyd under what's called a RICO act that is often reserved for organized crime. Viewers are said to discover why Boyd has returned to rob banks and he may likely disappear for good before the situation gets worse.

Meanwhile, Timothy Olyphant who plays the role of Raylan has revealed that it was a mutual decision to cancel the show after six season all because it felt like it's time.

"Although we're coming down to shooting the final four episode now, and I'm having a lot of fun," he said. "I can't imagine that  I did something as stupid as saying we should stop."

Olyphant also revealed the he dislike his character as Raylan despite that he has drawn many fans.

"I've thought long hard about this, and that's not how you want law-enforcement officers to behave," he said citing how Raylan killed a guy in cold blood and looking at it as nothing because that person is a criminal.

On the other hand, executive producer and showrunnder Graham Yost also spoke of the decision to put the show on wraps and why Dewey Crowe died in Justified season 6 premiere.

"I think after about Season 2 or so, when we got picked up for Season 3, or Season 3 being picked up for Season 4, we knew we had a shot at choosing our own ending. So that was around the time that we started to talk about it in earnest. So that said, I can't help it... I was probably thinking about it on the pilot, "How would a series end? you know?", he explained, reportedly

As for Dewey's death,he went on saying, "It was a bunch of things. One was, we really felt there was no better way to dramatize Ava's dilemma. That if Boyd was willing to kill this hapless thug out of just a suspicion, what's he going to do if and when he finds out that she's snitching on him?'

"So it was that and because, honestly, we thought that we might have seen the last of Dewey after last year. I even wrote it in the scene, where after he's confessed to killing Wade Messer and he's stolen the drugs and he runs outside and he gets caught, I had him say to Raylan," he added.

'Justified' season 6 and final season airs every Tuesday at 10pm ET on FX.
