Fans have been so excited for the Final Fantasy XV's release this March. The new installment will be set in the Japanese Final Fantasy universe. This game release will be released and initially with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

According to Gospel Herald, there is no exact date yet for the release of the new game installment. It has been on and off-rumored for several years now since March 2006. During that time, it was first announced around seven years ago, yet it was official by June 2013. And in that same year, the game's official name was also revealed including its switch from a focus on the Playstation 3 to a focus on the Playstation 4 as well as Xbox One.

However, with this year's rumored release of the Final Fantasy XV, the companion game is expected to be released initially before the main game. This is to help tide the fans over until the game's official release.

The same site also detailed that this new game installment is a high-definition port of the original Final Fantasy Type-0 which was released last 2011. Yet, this same port will be used upon re-introduction of Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries which is part of the preparation of the release of Final Fantasy XV.

The game is scheduled for release by March 15, but, there is no confirmation of the exact date for the Episode Duscae demo which will reveal the first true gameplay for Final Fantasy XV. The said demo will then be provided as a reward for those who pre-ordered Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, as reported to be released earlier. However, there is no fixed date yet.

There are also rumored screenshots of the said game, but, it was later found out that it was just the screenshots of the previously released game Final Fantasy Behemoth.

"We are doing our best to have the demo playable with the release of Type-0 HD, but we are still working on optimizing the system and everything, so I can't give you a date," Tabata said in his recent Reddit AMA.

Hajime Tabata, the upcoming game's director, said that he wished to release the said game worldwide simultaneously though he knows that this isn't possible.

"I'd like to be able to do a worldwide release ... We don't want to impose any big delays to players around the world, so I'm hoping that everyone will be able to play the same Final Fantasy XV together within as close of a time frame as possible."
