The former Dancing With The Stars Season 18 champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis are recently reunited that cause the rumor mill to spin out again that they are seeing each other.  

Breathecast reported that Chmerkovskiy and Davis performed together at two exclusive shows last December. First, was at the 'Shall We Dance on Ice' event held December 16 and at the 'Sway: A Dance Trilogy on December 17 in Westbury, New York.

This get together has prompted back rumors that this dancing couple is indeed romantically involved with each other, however, Maksim Chmerkovskiy denied that there's truth in it.

"We aren't dating. And I don' think we will. She is very special,' Chmerkovskiy told People Magazine in an interview. 'I care very deeply for Meryl. Our friendship is where it will be for many years. She is awesome to spend time with."

Chmerskovskiy and Davis did seem a perfect couple as they had wowed the judges as well as the audience earlier this on ABC's DWTS Season 18 edition but only on the dance floor. Ultimately, the two coveted the Mirror Ball Trophy, the first and only time of Chmerkovskiy's career, last May 20.

In related news, DWTS judge Len Goodman has already revealed his plans to exit from ABC long running dance reality show after Dancing With The Stars Season 20. Rumors have it that it could be Maksim Cmerkovskiy who be filling Goodman's shoes. Globe Magazine reported that  the producers have an eye for Maksim as replacement.    

"Top Brass has made it clear that they want someone with the same feisty attitude as Len and Maks fits the bills perfectly,' an insider told the magazine. 'Maks is a real hot head and craves being the center of attention. He's convined he is going to be the star of the show-and he doesn't care who he hurts!"

Meanwhile, Val Chmerskovskiy, younger brother of Maksim, has been confirmed to return on Dancing With The Stars Season 20 set to return on the small screens on March 16.
