Beyonce's baby sister, Solange Knowles, has finally tied the knot over the weekend with video director, Alan Ferguson. It was a unique celebration which the couple happily shared with their entire family and friends last Sunday, November 16, 2014, in New Orleans.

According to US Weekly, the 51-year-old Ferguson and the 28-year-old Knowles made it a point to be surrounded by a small group, composed of family and friends. Some of the attendees were Solange's 10-year-old son Daniel Julez, mother Tina Knowles, sister Beyonce, brother-in-law Jay Z, and niece, Blue Ivy.

Guests were said to number around 200, and the ceremony took place at the Marigny Opera House at around 2 in the afternoon. Afterwards, the couple enjoyed a bike ride in white vintage bicycles with the bride carrying a basket filled with fresh white flowers.

According to sources from People, the couple were described to be, "Beaming. Calm. They looked pretty calm, relaxed on their wedding day. Definitely happy."

Vogue reported that for the official wedding portraits, Solange wore a dress by Humberto Leon for Kenzo, whle Alan Ferguson wore a matching Lanvin suit.  For the marriage ceremony, Solange donned an ivory-toned pantsuit with a plunging neckline and cape, designed by Stephane Rolland.

Guests to the special event seem to have followed an all-white theme as most those who joined the celebration were photographed to be in their white ensembles, including father and daughter Jay Z and Blue Ivy who were seen together during the nuptials.

News from Hollywood Life discussed that it was not just the 16th that became a special occasion for the couple as the two held a pre-wedding party which showcased a video on how they met. The celebration also included a film showing of "Mahogany", a film that they saw during their first date.

The pre-wedding bash was held on November 14th, a couple of days before the actual wedding. The partty's guests were mostly close friends and family, with an estimated 50 people who celebrated with Solange. Jay-Z, Solange's brother-in-law, was not present in the pre-wedding event, but attended the wedding rites with his wife Beyonce, and daughter Blue Ivy.
