Luhan to attend press conference of ‘Back to 20’ on November 2; EXO confirmed to attend MAMA 2014
Controversial former EXO member Luhan will be making his first public appearance after he filed a lawsuit to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment earlier this month, Daily Kpop News reports.
According to the report, China media outlets confirmed that the Chinese idol will attend the press conference of the movie "Back to 20," where he is part of the cast, on November 2. He will attend the event together with his co-stars Yang Zishan and Ah Lei Gua, as well as director Chen Zhen Dao.
"Back To 20" is the Chinese adaptation of the Korean film "Miss Granny." The movie revolves around a 70-year-old grandmother who mysteriously turns into a 20-year-old lady. Luhan was cast as the grandson of the lead character.
The former EXO member has not been heard since he left the K-pop idol group and went back to his hometown in Beijing.
Allkpop recently reported that Luhan's friend posted in SNS a photo of him and the idol. In the photo, Luhan was wearing a cap as he smiled happily at the camera. The friend, who was reportedly his best friend named Coby, wrote "Finally...No.4, sleep well."
Previously, he was spotted in café in Beijing. On October 23, Chinese media outlet Sina posted 12 photos of Luhan taken while he was waiting for his order at the coffee shop. Sina wrote, "Luhan looked to be in a very high-spirited and lighthearted mood. After getting the drink he ordered, Luhan did not stick around in the store, but went straight for the store exit."
The photos immediately went viral online as fans have been waiting for news and updates about Luhan's whereabouts.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment's megagroup EXO continues their activity as 10-member group. Recently, it was confirmed that the group will be attending the upcoming Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2014. The widely popular group is among the idol bands competing for several award categories.
MAMA 2014 will be held at Asia World Expo in Hong Kong on December 3.
