Reality television was first rocked with the news about the claims of Anna Marie "Chickadee" Cardwell, Honey Boo Boo's sister, that she was molested as a child by Mama June's off-and-now-on-again boyfriend. According to Anna Marie, Mark McDaniel, who has been convicted as a sex offender, had molested her when she was 8 years old. McDaniel has been photographed with Mama June since the former was released from prison in March this year for similar charges. Mama June has since denied she is dating McDaniel.

Anna Marie told Entertainment Tonight about her thoughts about her mom dating McDaniel, "She's smiling and giggling when he's around. You know, he's a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did? And reportedly done it to another girl? And Mama was like, 'Oh, he never done it to another girl.' Mama's not supposed to be around him! She just knows! And she let him get around Lana and Pumpkin!"

The Buzz said that the TLC show has since been canceled, but a member of the Thompson family is suggesting that they might appear on reality television in a spin-off series. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is a known spin-off of "Toddlers and Tiaras."

Lee Thompson, known as "Uncle Poodle," posted a message on his Facebook profile, which read, "Hey guys I know this comes to a really big shock to y'all about the show being canceled. But me and Alan are staying out of it. We have our own life to live. It was a fun road of filming but hope to keep our fans and will stay on here and talk to all. Much love to our fans."

TLC has yet to respond to the rumors about Mama June's troubles with her family and an alleged spinoff with Uncle Poodle. But if the question was whether there is truth to Uncle Poodle's claims, Fox 411 shared that Mama June's brother tried to sell a story about her and her alleged relationship with McDaniel.

Pumpkin, who goes by her real name Lauryn Shannon, has since slammed her uncle for spreading lies about her family and her mom.

"EVERY STORY THAT'S [sic] OUT RIGHT NOW HE HAS PUT OUT AND ITS ALL FALSE. HE JUST THINKS IT ALL FUN AND GAMES SELLING FAMILY OUT," she wrote on Instagram.
