More and more K-pop idols are getting to show that they are more than just singers and dancers, but also good actors as well.

One example is Teen Top's Chanjo who has been recently cast as the male lead in the upcoming drama "Sweden Laundry." He will play Yong Soo Chul in the drama, which is under MBC every1 and MBC Drama Net.

In a recent report, the Teen Top member and drama first-timer was quoted saying, "I'm really nervous because it's my first drama appearance, but the members are all cheering me on, being a great strength to me," said Changjo. "I want to show a different side to me that hasn't been shown through 'Sweden Laundry.' I'll work really hard." 

Chanjo's drama will begin in November. 

Meanwhile, B.I.G's Heedo has been cast in KBS 2TV's new daily drama "Sweet Secret." According to Oh Kpop, he will play a designing employee in a fashion company. Heedo is currently promoting with his group. The website quoted him saying, "The members are cheering me on at my side, so I'm doing my best not to cause harm to the team or the drama. I'm going to work hard responsibly in response to the anticipation, so please watch with interest."

Heedo's drama will start in November.

Moreover, Seungyeon from the female idol group KARA will star in an upcoming one-act drama for MBC's 2014 "Drama Festival." The said festival will showcase work by upcoming drama directors and writers.

Allkpop reported that a rep from MBC confirmed that the idol will be part of the one-act drama 'Guitar and Hot Pants,' where she will be playing the part of a popular girl group member. This is not the first time Seungyeon is appearing on the small screen. She is currently a cast in the drama "Jang Bori is Here" where she has been receiving positive comments.
